Description
Origin: All grapes for this wine are sourced from a single vineyard in the beautiful Elgin valley.
Colour: Crimson brick red, tending to purple.
Bouquet: Smokey cordite and rich meatiness.
Taste: Elegant Rhone Style with well balanced tannins and flinty flavours.
Aftertaste: Lingering soft tannins, complimented by rich fruits.
Grape Variety: 100 Shiraz
Maturation Potential: An aging potential of at least five to ten years is anticipated. It is very drinkable right now as the wine has fantastically balanced tannins.
Aging/Fermentation: The wine was fermented dry on the skins. Matured for one year in French oak.
